Pediatrics

Department of Pediatrics

We provide general clinical care to children from infants and children ages 0-15 (Some are 16-18 years old). If your child has a very special or complex problem, we can refer your child to a specialist who can provide the care your child needs. Most of the time, children can be treated by our pediatricians. We seek to promote a health-empowering community, by engaging community partners and collaborating with primary care networks to deliver patient with the best possible outcome. Those patients who are referred from primary care physicians can take priority over the patients without referral. We offer weekday and weekend appointments, Monday through Saturday, between 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We provide general outpatient care in the morning for those who wish to be seen by our pediatrician without presenting a referral*. In the afternoon, our specialized outpatient clinic centers can provide professionals who are experts in their fields of practice including, pediatric cardiologist, pediatric neurologist, newborn/toddler specialists, pediatric allergy specialist, pediatric nephrologist and immunization clinic. If you or your child feel that he/she is having a medical emergency, call us or come to see us even in the afternoon hours. We can see your child without presenting a referral*. A pediatric provider is available in acute care to see patients with acute problems from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on Sundays and holidays. If your child has an urgent issue after 5:00 pm, our emergency department staff will contact the on-call pediatrician if necessary, so that your child can be admitted on the same day or come for a follow-up appointment the following day with one of our pediatricians.
*Please note that you may require to pay an additional fee called “SENTEI RYOYOHI” in addition to regular medical expenses those who do not present a referral from another medical institution.

Outpatient Allergy Clinic (2)

Our outpatient allergy clinic provides treatment for allergic diseases such as food allergy, atopic dermatitis, and bronchial asthma.
